i have a wool saddle pad that was turned up-side-down and it got hay all over it... i got the majority off.. but it still has little tiny pricks that some times pop out of it.. i don't want my horse to be uncomfortable or poked and cut or hurt.. so whats the best way to get hay outa my saddle pad.. thanks to all who reply!

Scotch tape maybe. brush it first to loosen the ones sunk in, then wrap the tape sticky side up around you hand…and pat all over the pad.

You can either take a hard brush and brush the hay out as much as possible, this usually works pretty good. You can also use a pressure washer or take it to a car wash and wash it out really good. I do this to all my saddle pads every couple of months, works really good.
It’s great that you are thinking of your horse like this.
