What color of western saddle pad would look best with a med oil saddle with a hot pink suede seat?

by admin on July 13, 2010

I don't want it to have too much pink in it.. just something that compliments the saddle. I have another saddle with a dark brown seat so I would like to be able to use the pad with both saddles. I have a sorrel, red dun, and black horses. Thanks

well, depending on if your gunna show, and what requirements in colors their are, pink would look good with lime green or a bright blue or teal. Hope you like the answer!

a bright purple or a green. They look really good on any horse really and go with pink. You could also try a maroon color or a burnt orange depending on what kind or colors you are going for (light or dark).

I would go with an aztec pattern or southwestern pattern that has turquoises, green, tan and black and maybe some pink to tie into the saddle. What looks good on a black horse (about anything) does not necessarily look good on a sorrel. Sorrels look good in earthy colors, like tan, brown, dark green, burgundy. Burgundy would go with the hot pink in the saddle seat. You are going to have to hold up the blanket with the saddle and see how it goes.

The Austin Vaquero Saddle Blanket has a southwestern pattern with pink, tan, and black. I think it would look gorgeous with your saddle and horses.
